Does the Inca Orange Oil alter the colour of the wood?
If the wood is sealed it shouldn't darken the finish. It penetrates dry wood to preserve it and can enhance depth, but it could darken the original wood tone. Always test in an inconspicuous area first to make sure you are happy with the result.
How is Inca Orange Oil applied?
It's very simple:

Use one cloth to apply the oil/polish. Spread it out evenly along the grain.
