FAQ’s
-
-
Will these fit a 32mm square or round chair leg? Yes. The flexible transparent sleeve is designed to stretch and grip securely on both round and square legs within the 30mm to 35mm range (approx. 1.2 to 1.4 inches), ensuring a “one-size-fits-most” solution for standard dining chairs.
-
Why do I need a steel plate inside a floor protector? Most silicone floor caps fail because the chair leg eventually pierces the soft material. The CB186 includes a built-in steel plate that acts as a puncture-proof shield, ensuring the furniture’s weight stays on the felt pad, not your floor.
-
How do I measure my chair leg for the right Slipstick sleeve? Simply measure the diameter of a round leg or the width of a square leg at the very base. If your measurement falls between 30mm and 35mm, the CB186 is the correct model for a secure, non-slip fit.
-
Are these sleeves better than adhesive felt for medium chair legs? Yes. Adhesive pads often shift or peel off due to the lateral pressure of moving chairs. The CB186 sleeve uses a physical “grip” on the leg, meaning it cannot slide off even with heavy daily use.

How to Measure for a Perfect Fit
-
Round Legs: Measure the diameter (the distance across the center of the bottom of the leg).
-
Square Legs: Measure the width of one side.
-
If you are “In-Between”: If your leg is exactly on the edge (e.g., 29.5mm), we generally recommend choosing the smaller size (CB184) for a tighter, more secure stretch-fit.
