For most furniture, apply every 3–6 months. High-use pieces (like dining tables) may need more frequent care. Between wax applications, you can use AFC Quick Polish Liquid Wax for easier upkeep but do not use it over the brown or black wax as it will remove the coloured wax.

Apply a small amount to a clean, lint-free cotton cloth.
- When using the brown or black wax for filling fine splits put extra wax on the cloth and push it into the split and wipe off excess.

Rub in a circular motion, finishing along the grain.

Allow to dry until it squeaks when rubbed with your fingertips.

Buff with a second soft cloth along the grain.

AFCFWBL1L- Furniture Wax Black 1 litre:
- This wax is used for furniture ranging in colour from dark brown to black. It can also be used for filling fine splits and small cracks.
- It should not be used for light to medium colour woods as it has quite a strong pigment which can change the colour of the wood furniture’s surface. Excellent for highlighting saw marks and distressing.
- Ideal for rejuvenating dark Asian style furniture or very dark finishes.
Directions:
(1) For polishing take a small amount of the furniture wax on a clean lint free cloth and rub in a circular motion along the length of the grain.
(2) Allow to dry completely. Test if wax is dry by rubbing with fingertips until a squeaking sound occurs.
(3) Buff off with another fresh clean lint free cloth finishing with length off the grain. Always apply the furniture wax in thin coats for best results.
To use as a filler for fine splits add extra wax on the end of a soft cloth and push into the split and remove excess, then follow the first 3 steps to finish off.
