What makes the CB133 better than smaller sliders for very heavy items? Physics! For massive items like heavy timber sideboards or pool tables, smaller sliders can “sink” into the carpet under the weight, making them hard to push. The 125mm diameter of the CB133 provides maximum weight distribution, allowing the furniture to stay “on top” of the carpet fibres for a much smoother glide.

Can I leave these under my furniture permanently? Yes. Many people use the self-adhesive backing to permanently attach these to the base of heavy corner sofas or large TV cabinets. This makes it incredibly easy to slide the furniture out for deep cleaning or to change your room’s layout without needing to call for help.

Will these work on thick, plush carpets? Yes. These are specifically designed for all types of carpet and rugs. The curved edges of the CB133 ensure the slider doesn’t “dig in” or snag on high-pile carpets, protecting your flooring from the stretching and “rucking” caused by dragging heavy furniture.

Are these safe for timber or tile floors? No. These are Carpet-Only sliders. The hard plastic base is designed for textile friction. For hard surfaces like timber or tile, you must use a felt-based slider like the Slipstick CB135.
