When should I choose this kit over a basic leather cleaning kit?

Choose this version when your furniture or car seats show dye transfer, discolouration, or stubborn grime. The included dye remover targets stains ordinary cleaners can’t lift.

How should I use the kit step-by-step?

• Wet the leather first with some warm water not hot
• Spray the leather cleaner in small areas at a time (Before starting test in a small inconspicuous and check for any changes in the leather or colour removal) Do not proceed if anything has changed
• Use a soft cloth or soft bristle brush to apply the cleaner in small circular motions. If using a soft bristle brush check that there are no adverse reactions as some leathers are not pigmented properly and colour can be removed

• Wipe off residue with a damp cloth, then allow to dry.

• If Dye Transfer needs to be removed do the following before Leather Conditioning
  (1) Shake well before using.
  (2) First pre test the cleaner for colour-fastness in an inconspicuous area before applying to area of the leather that has the dye transfer.
  (3) Pour the cleaner onto a soft clean cloth.
  (4) Wipe gently onto the leather surface.
  (5) For persistent stains wait a few minutes to allow the product to penetrate the surface or until you can see the dye transfer stain disappear.
  (6) Repeat cleaning procedure.
  (7) Clean any excess or residue away with some good quality Neutral PH Cleaner then lightly rinse with some warm water.
  (8) Pat dry with a soft clean cotton cloth

• Once the leather is dry apply the conditioning cream sparingly and evenly with a cotton or microfiber cloth.

• Massage it into the pores lightly.

• Leave to absorb, then buff off any excess gently.

How often should I use this kit ?

Deep cleaning with this full kit is recommended twice a year, or as needed for visible staining. Routine cleaning can continue with the standard cleaner and conditioner. Only use the dye transfer remover when required

How long do the items in the kit last?

Unfortunately this is a hard question to answer as there are many variables. It depends on how dirty the leather is and how many pieces you have to do.

Can this kit help restore old or faded leather?

Yes—it helps revive tired leather by removing grime and rehydrating the surface. However, for heavily cracked or colour-worn leather, recolouring may still be needed.
