How do I know if these will fit my recliner’s feet?
The CB380 is highly versatile. Out of the box, it fits standard 38mm (1-1/2″) round factory feet. However, it also includes two sets of adapter rings that allow it to snap securely onto 31mm (1-1/4″) and 26mm (1-1/64″) feet, covering the most common sizes used by major brands like Leggett & Platt and WynPro.
Do I need tools or glue to install these?
No. This is a “no-tool” solution. Once you have identified the correct adapter ring (if needed), you simply clip the gripper foot onto the existing plastic or metal foot of your recliner. The tension-fit design ensures they stay on during heavy use and reclining movements.
Why should I use these instead of standard rubber cups?
Standard castor cups are often too deep or bulky, causing the recliner to sit unevenly. The CB380 is only 12mm thick and raises the chair by a subtle 7mm, maintaining the chair’s original ergonomic feel while providing a “gorilla grip” that prevents it from hitting the wall.
Will these work on carpet?
These are specifically engineered for hard floors (timber, tile, laminate, and vinyl) where sliding is a major issue. On hard surfaces, the rubberised bottom creates grip to lock the chair in place. For carpet, the chair’s original feet are usually sufficient.
