Will these wheels fit my standard office chair? Yes. These wheels use the Australian standard 11mm (7/16″) diameter stem. This is the universal size used by the vast majority of office chair brands. Simply pull out your old wheel; if the metal stem looks like a standard plug, these will snap right in.

Are these wheels safe for hardwood floors? These are standard hard plastic wheels. While they are durable and glide perfectly on carpet or plastic chair mats, we recommend the Rubber Tread version (CB684) if you are using your chair directly on timber, laminate, or vinyl to prevent surface scratching.

How do I remove the old wheels to install these? No tools are usually required. Most office chair wheels are “friction fit.” Lay the chair on its side, grab the old wheel firmly, and pull it away from the base. Then, simply push the new CB681 stem into the hole until you hear or feel a “click.”

What is the weight rating for this set? Each individual wheel is rated to support 36kg, giving the full set of five a total weight capacity of 180kg.
