Why are these better than felt pads for tiled floors? Large felt pads on heavy furniture often “bunch up” or peel off when pushed over grout lines. Gorilla Glides feature a rigid, ultra-slick plastic base that bridges grout gaps effortlessly and provides a much lower coefficient of friction, meaning you need significantly less physical force to move the item.

Can I use these on my carpeted office floor? Yes. The CB503 is an excellent permanent solution for heavy desks or filing cabinets on carpet. They prevent the furniture from “sinking” too deeply into the pile and allow for easy repositioning without damaging the carpet fibers.

Should I use the screws or the adhesive for heavy tables? For any furniture weighing over 20kg or items moved frequently, we strongly recommend the screw-on method. The CB503 includes screws and a pre-drilled center hole to ensure the glide remains a permanent part of the furniture leg, providing maximum safety and stability.
