Can I move a heavy wardrobe on carpet with these? Absolutely. The CB130 is designed to handle significant weight. By placing one under each corner, you reduce the friction between the furniture and the carpet fibers, allowing you to slide heavy pieces that would otherwise be impossible to budge alone.

Do these stay on the furniture permanently? You have the choice. They feature a heavy-duty adhesive backing, so you can stick them onto the legs of a heavy desk you move frequently. Alternatively, you can simply slide them under the feet of a sofa for a one-time move and remove them afterward.

Will these work on hard floors like timber or tile? No. The CB130 is a Carpet-Only slider. The hard plastic base that makes them glide on carpet could scratch timber or laminate. For moving furniture on hard floors, we recommend the Slipstick CB135 (Felt Bottom Sliders).

Do they protect my carpet from damage? Yes. When you try to “drag” heavy furniture without sliders, the feet can snag and “ruck” the carpet, leading to permanent stretching or even tearing. The CB130 provides a smooth surface that glides over the fibers, keeping your carpet pile intact.
